I was born in Denver, Colorado and have 4 older brothers. I was raised in a Catholic family and have attended Catholic schools for most of my education. I attended Regis University in Denver, being involved with Students for Life and in 2016, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Peace and Justice. During my college years, my future husband (Evan) and I became best friends and in 2018, we were married at Holy Apostles Catholic Church. We have one child in heaven (Killian) who was still born, one beautiful daughter (Mina) who is two years old and one daughter (Amelia) on the way!
It is a great joy to be a part of Agape Catholic Ministries as I have always felt drawn to ministry. Both my husband and I volunteer at our parish in Youth Ministry and enjoy helping to bring God’s truth to others. I look forward to working with you!

Carmen
Carmen is an online Quinceañera Prep Tutor, as well as Baptism Prep. She and her husband are also Marriage Prep Instructors.
I was born in Lima, Peru in South America; and moved to the USA with my husband Rudy for work. I am an Elementary teacher and a professional translator. I also enjoy doing other activities for leisure like dancing, singing, hanging out with friends, and most of all traveling! My husband and I have traveled around a lot of this beautiful country!
Although we have no kids, we have been blessed with a happy marriage of more than 20 years. I love being part of Agapè Catholic Family Ministries! Working with the Quinceañeras is something I enjoy very much. In Peru, we celebrate los Quince Años as well but in a different way. I remember my dad asking me, “Carmencita, would you like a nice party for your Quinces or would you rather have a trip?” I bet you know what my answer was! I treasure in my heart and mind the best memories of our family trip to Argentina that year!
My love for God, my husband, my family in Peru, and my friends (in this order of importance) is my number one value! I feel really blessed for having all of them in my life!

Emily
Hello! My name is Emily and I am so excited to help you through your Quince Prep!
I grew up in New Jersey with my parents and three siblings and attended Catholic school from K-8th grade, and then attended public high school. Although my family was Catholic, we were not very strong in the faith and I fell away from the Church during high school and college. After college, one day I had a very strong feeling that I needed to go back to holy mass. I found a church near me and went. After a few weeks I felt another strong calling to go to confession. It was very hard, as I hadn’t been to confession in 12 years, but I truly felt God’s peace surrounding me! I still feel that way after confession now. I met my husband at a young adult Catholic Bible Study and we have been married since 2013 and have three children. My husband is a high school math teacher and I stay home with our children and homeschool them.
We are also Marriage Prep and Baptism Instructors through Agape Catholic Ministries. I love to cross stitch, cook and bake, and spend time outside with my family, especially on a hike or exploring the state parks in South Carolina. I look forward to getting to know you through this Quince Preparation!
